In USA Volleyball, athletes are separated into age groups based upon their birth month and year. The age definitions for each group can be found in the chart provided. It is important to note that these age definitions may differ from those used in other sports organizations.

1. Find for your son’s birth month on the left column
2. Scan along that row until you get your son’s birth year
3. Look at the column header where your sons birth month and birth year intersect, that is your sons age group for the season (please note the season information

What is your youngest participation age?

Our youngest travel team is 12-under, but this team has athletes on it that are as young as 9 years old. For example, our 12-Premier team may have 9, 10, 11, and 12 year olds on the team! We have camps and clinics that cater to athletes as young as 8 years old.
